The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

MDP FAQ

  1. Who can attend MDP Identification Weekends?
    • All players that fall within the offered age groups for that season. Eligible birth years for the 2018-19 season are 2002-2007.
  2. What forms do I need to fill out to participate in an Identification Weekend?
    • Online Registration Form (Completed through GotSoccer)
    • Medical Release Form (Completed through GotSoccer)
    • Concussion Form (Completed through GotSoccer)
  3. How much is registration and what does it cover?
    • The non-refundable MDP Identification Registration Fee is $75. This fee will be due at the time online registration through GotSoccer is completed. Once the Identification Weekends are complete, players will be named to the State Team or Pool Team.
    • Players offered a spot on the State Team will be responsible for an additional $250 Training Fee should they accept their invitation. 
    • Players offered a spot on the Pool Team will only be responsible for an additional $125 Training Fee should they accept their invitation. 
    • These registration fees cover rental of facilities, coach's fees and administrative costs for training.
    • Additional fees will be required  by those players attending events or camps as they are scheduled to cover those costs.
  4. What are the benefits o participating in MDP?
    • Player development

  5. How will MDP notify me whether my player has made the State Team or Pool Team?
    • Emails will be sent to players and parents the week after the last scheduled Identification Weekend.
  6. How many players will be named to the State Team?
    • This may vary by age and gender group. However, no State Team will exceed 20 players.
  7. Does my player have to attend all scheduled sessions on a given Identification Weekend?
    • No. However, players are encouraged to attend as many Identification Sessions and Weekends as possible. The more exposure your player has to MDP Evaluators the better your player can be evaluated. 
  8. What if my player misses an Identification Weekend?
    • MDP will always schedule multiple Identification Weekends.  Please look at the MDP ID and Registration page for a full list of those dates.
  9. When do State Teams and Pool Teams get announced?
    1. Notifications will be sent out the week after the last scheduled Identification Weekend.
  10. How long is the MDP season?
    • The MDP season begins in August and ends in July
  11. Once a player is selected to either the State Team or Pool Team, when and where will these teams train?
    • MDP's goal is for State Team players to train twice a month and for Pool Team players to train once a month. This may be impacted by weather, availability and other scheduled MDP events. MDP also expects to reduce training sessions during the spring club season (April - June).
  12. What other costs will there be for events and camps?
    • Event costs will be dependent on event registration fee, travel costs, etc. Final event fees will cover everything for the player with the exception of their food and airline tickets (if necessary).
  13. How do I determine what event I should attend when there is a soccer conflict?
