Grassroots Coaching Courses

Montana Youth Soccer, in collaboration with US Soccer, offers to hold the four new in-person Grassroots License Courses. Each of these courses are tailored around the new Grassroots game models: 4v4, 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11. These course options will offer coaches the opportunity to learn more about how to develop a player-centered approach to coaching.

Each Grassroots Course is four hours long with both classroom and field-based sessions. Coaches will learn about US Soccer’s Coaching Education philosophy, Play-Practice-Play Methodology and the Six Tasks of a Grassroots Coach.

Interested coaches may participate in any in-person Grassroots Course after they completed the prerequisite Introduction to Grassroots Coaching Module through US Soccer’s Learning Center.
